Retro Diffusion is a standalone program. It is a Lua-based extension script that runs inside Aseprite. Once installed, it adds a new dialog window to Aseprite that communicates with a running Automatic1111 Web UI (the most popular Stable Diffusion interface).
Open Aseprite and navigate to Edit > Preferences > Extensions.

When the installation finishes, you’ll see the Retro Diffusion tools appear in Aseprite’s menus. All scripts, tools, and menus added by Retro Diffusion are now available in → Retro Diffusion Scripts .
