After his guru’s mahasamadhi, Baba Loknath returned to Bengal and settled in the village of Baradi (present-day Narayanganj, Bangladesh), where he lived for the next 26 years. Initially, many locals mistook him for a madman, but his profound wisdom and miraculous powers soon drew followers from all walks of life. He attained mahasamadhi on 2 June 1890, leaving behind a legacy of love, protection and the famous promise: “Whenever you are in danger – whether in war, in the ocean, or in the forest – think of me. I will save you.”
