If you only have one or two files and do not want to install software, certain advanced online file conversion platforms support the IS2 extension. How to use them:

An IS2 file is a thermal image generated by Testo infrared cameras. Unlike a standard photograph, an IS2 file is a "radiometric" image. This means it does not just store visual pixels; it embeds thousands of individual temperature data points within the file structure.

: A more modern professional suite that supports various Fluke thermal camera formats, including .is2, .is3, and .is5 . It features robust analysis tools and customizable report generation.

When converting, be aware that a standard JPG is "flat." You will see the thermal colors (like ironbow or rainbow palettes), but you will no longer be able to click on a pixel to see the exact temperature. If you need to perform further analysis, always keep your original IS2 files as a backup and only use the JPG versions for viewing and documentation. Final Verdict

It is a proprietary format, meaning it cannot be opened by typical image viewers like Photoshop or Windows Photos. Why Convert IS2 to JPG? Converting an is2 to jpg is essential for:

Before we discuss converting an IS2 file to JPG, it is critical to understand what you are dealing with. The .is2 file extension is primarily associated with .

In the realm of digital imaging, various file formats serve distinct purposes, and users often find themselves needing to convert between them. One such conversion that has gained significant attention is from IS2 to JPG. IS2 files, primarily associated with ImageStream graphic images, are not as widely supported or recognized as the more ubiquitous JPG (or JPEG) format, which is used for photographic images. This discrepancy in usage and compatibility has led to a growing demand for efficient IS2 to JPG conversion tools. In this article, we'll explore the IS2 file format, the JPG format, and most importantly, guide you through the process of converting IS2 files to JPG.

An .is2 file is a thermal image data file format utilized primarily for infrared and thermal imaging, developed by companies like GRAYESS for IRT Cronista.

    • This could have to do with the pathing policy as well. The default SATP rule is likely going to be using MRU (most recently used) pathing policy for new devices, which only uses one of the available paths. Ideally they would be using Round Robin, which has an IOPs limit setting. That setting is 1000 by default I believe (would need to double check that), meaning that it sends 1000 IOPs down path 1, then 1000 IOPs down path 2, etc. That’s why the pathing policy could be at play.

To your question, having one path down is causing this logging to occur. Yes, it’s total possible if that path that went down is using MRU or RR with an IOPs limit of 1000, that when it goes down you’ll hit that 16 second HB timeout before nmp switches over to the next path.
