If you have trouble reaching us by telephone, please reach out to for business inquiries or for technical inquiries.
Our telephones have not been reliable lately. Apparently, AT&T is having difficulty supporting copper-based plain old telephone service (POTS) lines and they don't seem to be very interested in that legacy business any longer. We are in the process of transitioning from AT&T POTS to VoIP telephone service, but this is taking longer than expected or desired.
We have already dropped AT&T Fiber Internet, AT&T Wireless, and AT&T Long Distance. Our transition away from AT&T will hopefully soon be complete.
In the meantime, if you have any trouble reaching us, please send us a message via one of the above email addresses and we will endeavor to get back to you quickly.
Thank you.

For decades, a trip to the vet followed a predictable, if stressful, routine: a cold metal table, a firm grip from a technician, and a quick jab of a needle. The goal was physical health, often at the expense of the animal’s emotional well-being. But a shift is happening. The wall between animal behavior veterinary science
Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome (CDS), often compared to Alzheimer's disease in humans, affects aging dogs and cats. It leads to disorientation, altered sleep cycles, house soiling, and changes in social interactions. Veterinary scientists use specific diets, supplements, and medications to slow this neurodegenerative process. The Role of Psychopharmacology

When environmental modification and behavior modification protocols are insufficient, veterinary science utilizes behavioral pharmacology. This is not about sedating an animal, but rather rebalancing neurotransmitters to allow learning to occur.
"We aren't just treating a joint," Dr. Aris whispered, scribbling notes on Jasper’s score. "We’re treating a nervous system that has decided the world is unpredictable." Descargar Videos De Zoofilia Gratis Al Movil
Veterinary behaviorists utilize medications such as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) like fluoxetine, or tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) like clomipramine, to lower anxiety levels. By chemically reducing the panic response, the animal enters a cognitive state where they can successfully process desensitization and counter-conditioning therapies. The Role of Preventive Behavioral Medicine
The application of animal behavior and veterinary science extends far beyond household pets. In agricultural settings, understanding livestock behavior is foundational to production efficiency, safety, and animal welfare.
The synergy between these fields is most evident in the development of behavioral pharmacology. When behavior modification (training) isn’t enough to help an animal suffering from severe phobias or compulsive disorders, veterinarians prescribe psychoactive medications. This requires a deep understanding of neurobiology—knowing how neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine influence behavior—and how those medications interact with the animal’s overall physical health. The One Health Connection
Using continuous treats like peanut butter, squeeze cheese, or wet food during exams and injections to create positive associations. For decades, a trip to the vet followed
The combined fields of animal behavior and veterinary science have many practical applications, including:
The waiting room of the multi-species clinic didn't just smell like antiseptic and wet fur; it smelled like . To a human, it was a sterile office; to the patients, it was a high-stakes arena of overlapping territories.
A dog that is terrified at the vet isn’t just being "difficult." That fear triggers a cascade of physiological changes—elevated heart rate, increased blood pressure, and the release of stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. These changes can directly .

: Drugs like gabapentin or trazodone are given prior to veterinary visits or thunderstorms to manage acute anxiety.
The field of veterinary behavior is expanding rapidly, driven by comparative medicine and advanced technologies. Genomic research is beginning to identify specific genetic markers linked to behavioral traits and anxieties in specific breeds, paving the way for targeted preventative counseling.
